Proof Welcomes New CFO, Mark Crowley

Proof is proud to welcome Mark Crowley to the executive team as Chief Financial Officer. Mark’s a key addition to the growing Proof executive team, and brings decades of experience as a finance leader and strategic business partner to rapidly growing software companies. Mark excels at leading finance organizations at cutting-edge SaaS technology companies, and he’s found that sweet spot in his new role at Proof.


Prior to Proof, Mark was CFO of Volante Technologies, a global provider of payments as a service (PaaS), where he raised more than $125M in new capital over four years and managed
a finance team in 5 countries. He previously served in finance and strategy leadership roles at Fuze, Care.com, Verizon, and Constant Contact, where he helped engineer the billion-dollar sale of that public company in 2015. Mark is known for building robust financial reporting capabilities and building highly skilled finance teams.


Mark also brings with him experiences in investment banking at Lehman Brothers and in management consulting at A.T. Kearney, where he shaped numerous high-profile deals in the automotive, aerospace, manufacturing, and telecom industries. He earned his M.B.A. from the MIT Sloan School of Management as well as a B.A. in Economics and Computer Science from Brandeis University.


In addition to acting as Treasurer of the MIT Sloan Boston Alumni Board, Mark has served on the organizing committee for the annual MIT Sloan CFO Summit for several years. Mark lives in Greater Boston with his wife and two daughters.
