Operation Chillax 2024: What Team Proof Did With Its Week Away
Just as the summer heat was starting to get to us, one of Proof’s most loved traditions was upon us - Operation Chillax!
Operation Chillax is a company-wide initiative to take time off. The goal is to truly disconnect from work — with no expectations to be online and no need to worry about mountains of work piling up upon return. Instead, team members spend time doing what matters most.
This year marks Proof’s 4th Chillax and the Proof team had big plans to make the most of it. Read on below to see what they got up to.
Michael Lyons, Senior Notary Success Manager
“We headed up to my wife’s family cottage in Boothbay Harbor, Maine. While there we also ventured out to Mohegan Island which has been on our bucket list for a while. We also were able to enjoy some 4th of July festivities and even attended a party that didn’t stop until the last hot dog was eaten!”
Emmy Leitzell, Account Executive
“I went camping in the Colorado mountains!”
Bradley Carrion, Staff Software Engineer
“I went golfing, running and paddle boarding. Attended a good friend's wedding and endured 105 degree weather in California but got to swim in Lake Tahoe and spend time with family. I am so thankful to have gotten the past week off to slow down, recharge and get outside.”
Justin Rossi, Solutions Architect
“Universal Studios! Met Shrek, Donkey and Fiona with the family. Truly a fun week to rest and relax!”
Savanah Drage, Template Manager
“I had a busy Chillax week. To start it off, my husband and I were able to attend a friends wedding in Texas. I took the kids on a picnic in the park then headed to the lake to take them camping and fishing for the night! We ended the week with celebrating Waylons 3rd birthday with a day at the arcade, giant ice cream sundaes, then a fun birthday party!”
Eric Fleischman, Chief Technology Officer
Eric and his family enjoyed the Operation Chillax swag by the water including this cool portable speaker!
Jackson Terrill, Software Engineering Co-Op
“Family vacation to Rosemary Beach in Florida”
Erika Hill, Notary Onboarding Specialist
“I had a thrills and chill Chillax. Took my daughter to Six Flags, Georgia Aquarium and World of Coca-Cola. Then came home and had a me day.”
Renée Hunter, General Counsel & Head of People
“I went on an epic hike that was 5 years in the making - the Havasupai trail to Havasua Falls (and several other falls) in AZ!”
While there are many more stories from this week off, it’s clear this year’s “Operation Chillax” was a success, and that everyone was able to take some well-deserved time to relax and come back recharged.
Until next year!
