How do I notarize a document online?
Notarizing a document online is easy with Proof. Click the ‘Notarize now’ button above and upload your full document (not just the signature page) as a .pdf or .docx file. Next, create a Proof account to securely store your document and transaction details. You'll verify your identity by answering a few security questions and taking photos of a valid ID. After that, you’ll connect with a notary on a video call—usually within just 2 seconds, with notaries available 24/7. Once your document is signed and notarized, you’ll be prompted for payment, and your State Bar of Wisconsin discount will apply automatically. After payment, you can download and share your notarized documents.
How do I send a client a notarization request?
To send a client a notarization request and save time, start by creating a Proof for Business account. Click the ‘Create a business account’ button above and follow the onboarding process, which will ask for a few details about your business. Once your account is set up, click the ‘Send a notarization request’ button. Enter the recipient's information, upload the document, and tag it for notarization.
