What is a Proof digital ID?+
Your Proof digital ID is a reusable credential tied to the identity you verified with Proof.

Can I use it everywhere?+
Your Digital ID works across the Proof network. It is not a replacement for your physical government-issued ID.
Will I still need to verify myself?+
Yes. A live face match helps confirm it’s you. When you start a transaction yourself, Proof also asks for a second confirmation, like a code sent to your phone.

What happens if my agent does something I didn't approve?+
Your agent can only act within the limits you set. Every action it takes carries a signature tied to the specific approval you gave, so a business can check that a request was actually authorized by you before accepting it. A request outside those limits doesn't carry your approval and can be refused.
Can I revoke it?+
Yes. You can withdraw an agent's permission at any time from your Proof account. Once revoked, the agent can no longer sign or approve anything in your name.
Who can see my information?+
Only the businesses you choose to share with, and only what they need to confirm. A business sees that your identity is verified and what you approved, not a copy of your ID documents. Your documents stay with you.
